At Now My Home Trust,Saving a life with one’s own blood is indeed a very noble and redemptive act. The process stands greatly amplified when the concerned person is a stranger and not one’s relative. In case of emergencies many a life is lost either due to the failure in finding the right donor or shortages in the blood bank.

Blood donation camps are the need of the hour and nobody understands this better than now my home. Voluntary donation is encouraged by way of conducting Blood Donation camps. The camp is conducted under the supervision of qualified medical professionals and blood safety officers in a hygienic and safe manner. To prevent accidental contamination to the donor, disposable gloves and syringes are used in all the blood donation camps. Arrangements are also made to store the collected blood in a scientific manner. Networking with various blood collection centres across the city, now my home helps meet their requirements by way of its contributions.

These camps are conducted in educational institutions, corporate offices, and community centers in collaboration with certified blood banks and medical professionals.

Voluntary Blood Donation Drives

Regular blood donation drives help ensure a steady and safe blood supply for patients in need, including accident victims, surgical patients, and those undergoing critical treatments.

Our blood donation drives encourage healthy individuals to donate blood voluntarily. Participants are guided through the donation process by trained medical staff, ensuring donor safety, hygiene, and post-donation care.

Youth and Community Engagement

Young adults and community members play a crucial role in building a strong and sustainable blood donation network. Early awareness helps foster a culture of regular and voluntary blood donation.

We conduct awareness sessions in colleges, residential communities, and social groups to motivate individuals to become regular blood donors and ambassadors for this life-saving cause.

Vocational city clean camp

At Now My Home Trust, The city which was once hailed as the ‘Garden City of India’ has today become a thriving mosquito and disease breeding ground leading to quite a few deaths also. Cleanliness begins at home! It is only when we learn to keep our own surroundings clean can we have cleaner and healthier cities.

now my home is actively and enthusiastically involved and dedicated to the mission of ‘Keeping the city clean’. Frequent camps are conducted to educate people about the need for cleanliness, right way of waste disposal, segregation of waste and generating compost manure from waste. Streets around different parts of the city is identified and the people in that particular neighborhood are motivated and mobilized to participate in cleaning up their surroundings. They are also encouraged to maintain the same momentum.

Training Camp

'All work and no play make children dull'. Every now and then, children need to break from their monotonous routine and take a vacation. Vacations can be fun, educative and relaxing. Children come back rejuvenated and ready for more.

now my home arranges to take children on vacation camps to places of interest and learning like museums, art houses, heritage sites, places of historical and architectural importance, etc. While food and snacks are provided for the children, the transportation costs have to be borne by them (or) someone can sponsor.

At Now My Home Trust, we organize summer camps and self-defence programs designed to nurture confidence, discipline, and overall personality development among children and young adults. Summer Camp Activities

In keeping with its mission of making children happy and bringing cheer in their faces with a smile, Now My Home arranges summer camps for the less privileged and also for those who can afford to pay the fees. Popular games like Football, Cricket and Basketball is taught by experts.

Self-defence Training Programs

Now My Home Trust conducts self-defence training sessions to empower children, adolescents, and women with practical techniques to protect themselves in unsafe situations. These sessions build awareness, physical strength, and mental preparedness.

Empowerment and Confidence Building

Now My Home provides free self-defence training for girls and women from poor backgrounds. Training in Taekwondo, Karate etc., and self-defence techniques are taught under the guidance of experts in the field.

Support Programs for Blind & HIV-Affected Children

At Now My Home Trust, we are committed to supporting blind children and children affected by HIV by providing care, education, and opportunities for holistic development. These programs aim to ensure dignity, inclusion, and equal access to learning and growth.

Children with visual impairment and those affected by HIV often face social stigma, health challenges, and limited access to educational and developmental opportunities. Now My Home Trust works to bridge this gap through compassionate care and structured support systems.

Support for Blind Children

Our programs for blind children focus on building independence and confidence through inclusive education, assistive learning tools, and personalized guidance. Children are encouraged to develop life skills that help them lead dignified and self- sufficient lives.

Care and Rehabilitation for HIV-Affected Children

The adage “Prevention is better than cure” was probably never more appropriate than in the case of HIV Aids. The best weapon to fight against it is Education. Children, youth and adults alike need to be educated about it if one has to prevent this from becoming an epidemic that can have devastating effects on society.

All the thriving misconceptions and misgivings, the society at large needs to be presented true facts on the disease and provided with marginalised and unsophisticated who are suffering.

As part of its social awareness initiative, Now My Home has clearly defined programs for different categories of people who need to be provided the right information about HIV Aids. Different teaching aids are used like charts, videos, street plays, etc., to get the message across. People are taught on how to avoid, prevent, the precautions to be taken, importance of taking medications, periodic check-ups, how to handle a HIV +ve patient at home and workplace etc.
